California Car - Lewis Gant

This photograph was from my first visit to California back in 2019 and is of one of many classic cars I spotted while there.

Armed with my Mamiya RB67 and a bag full to the brim of Kodak Portra 400, I spent the morning exploring the neighbourhood for potential subjects to photograph to which there was no shortage.

Analogue photography will always have a special place in my heart, as it brings such a unique warmth and character to my images especially when paired with a classic car and the enchanting golden California sunshine beautifully illuminating every detail.
